Studying abroad can be an incredible experience while you're at Miami. There are many programs and opportunities you can explore and consider during your time here. A few art education students have even chosen to do their student teaching abroad!

There are courses that deepen the study abroad experience and help build students' cultural competencies:

a). For students interested in studying abroad (IDS 154)
b). For students who returned from study abroad this fall from a spring or summer 2014 study abroad program or experience (can include internships, volunteer work)  (IDS 156)
c). For students who will be returning from fall 2014 study abroad and will be back on campus in February (IDS 156)

IDS 154 "Preparing for Study Abroad" is a 2 credit 10 week sprint course. Next semester it will be taught by Gina Asalon of Global Initiatives and will be offered M and W at 4:30-6:05 pm.

IDS 156 "Study Abroad Re-entry" is a 1 credit 10 week sprint course that will be offered T, 4:00-5:30 pm.
